The Nanaimo Chapter of the Vintage Car Club of Canada
Island Autumn Tour, Nanaimo, Friday September 6, 2019

Registration and refreshments were held at the home of Rita and Bob Skarset in Nanaimo

We were given a presentation about wolves by Gary Allen who brought along Tundra the wolf.

Here are the photos from the Skarset home

Nanaimo VCCC member Gwen McCarger presents Gary Allen with the painting of Tundra which she created

After the wolf presentation and the enjoyment of refreshments we formed a convoy
to proceed through Nanaimo to the location of the private vehicle collection of Ken Schley.

A policy of privacy meant we could not take photos of the vehicles.
The collection consisted of about 30 vehicles, it was very impressive.

While there we enjoyed the best chilli, buns and beer
before heading back to our hotels and homes.

Many thanks to the food committee made up of Nanaimo VCCC members
Barb & Phil Wilson, Hazel & Wayne Ayers, Phyllis & Dave Watson and Carolyn & Ray Koch.
