The Club's 1907 Ford Project

The Nanaimo Chapter of the Vintage Car Club of Canada
CLUB INFORMATION

In October 1963 Fred Bell, Donna Bell, Larry Conn
and Tim Brown met at the Bell's home in North Oyster
to organize a vintage car club.

They called it The B.C. Vintage Car Club.

In 1964, Fred Bell was President, Larry Conn the Secretary
and they held four meetings that year.

The early gatherings were usually family affairs
(including children) and were held in members' houses.

Over the years the club has sponsored many car shows,
tours, and picnics with the major event being
an annual Swap Meet, held in June.

On January 1, 2003 the B.C. Vintage Car Club became
the Nanaimo Chapter of the Vintage Car Club of Canada.
