***The Last Drive: In Memorium***

We recently said goodbye to long time member Roy Herman.
Colin Heasley writes: Roy was a valued member of the Vintage Car Club of Canada (Nanaimo Chapter) for many years.
He was the club's Treasurer, an important position, for approximately ten years, and he was liked by everyone.
Roy was a friend, and over the years I captured him in photographs at the various Vintage Car Club functions and I include the photos here. The events that are shown include club meetings, car shows, the club's Swap Meet, and Roy being presented with an award for his contribution to the club by the club President, Steve Harris.
In addition, a couple of photos of Roy's car are included.

***ALERT BREAKING NEWS***
Our 2023 Mid Island Swap Meet was a great success,
190 or so vendors and about 2200 people into the building
Unfortunately the closure of Highway 4 due to the wildfire prevented
Port Alberni and Tofino vendors and shoppers from attending.

In 2024 we will again be organizing the Mid Island Swap Meet
and once again it will be at Arbutus Meadows Farm in Nanoose.
The date is Sunday, June 9th.
NOTE:
For next year, 2024, new vendors can use the email link below
to request a spot on our waiting list.
We will not be renting stalls until late January.
